Leaders rarely need more information. The greater challenge is finding the right perspective at the right moment. These latest developments are intended to make the growing body of knowledge around Clarity Before Change easier to explore and use.
Notes: The Clarity Before Change Blog
With more than 150 substantial posts and over 1,000 visits in recent months, the Notes blog offers a growing resource for reflections on clarity, management, and organization. The latest additions focus on themes from Patterns of Mastery.

The Organization Twin Room
A web-based version of the Organization Twin Room is now in development.
Its purpose is to give leaders and teams a shared setting in which they can explore how management, leadership, and work interact in their organization.
The Room is not intended to provide a ready-made judgment or prescribe what should change. It is designed to support better observation and better conversations.
The underlying idea remains simple: before people can make informed decisions about change, they need a clearer, more shared understanding of their present situation.
The underlying database is nearly complete. The next step is to bring it into a protected web environment, where the first version will make each Organization Twin easier to explore and prepare the ground for a future virtual Organization Twin Room.
The Editions Library
The new Editions Library offers several paths:
- Public-access downloads for initial orientation
- A broader Download Library
- Academy Working Documents for active practice
- The Academy Deep Library for foundational and advanced study
New Clarity Guides and Companion Guides are also being added.
The aim is to help readers move from a short introduction to practical application or deeper study—without losing sight of how the materials connect.

Forthcoming Book: Clarity Before Change
The manuscript for Clarity Before Change is now complete and moving into production for publication by LID Publishing in January 2027.
It addresses a familiar leadership challenge:
Organizations often move from pressure to action before they have developed a shared understanding of what is actually happening.
The book explores what leaders need to see before deciding what should change—and why the quality of action depends on the quality of the understanding behind it.
I am now inviting endorsements from people who know this field and can offer a thoughtful external perspective. If the argument resonates with you and you would consider contributing an endorsement, I would be pleased to share further information.
Simply send me a short note, and I will share the manuscript.

More Languages, Wider Reach
Many public materials are already available in English, German, Spanish, and Italian. The Portuguese and French collections are also growing.
This allows more readers to encounter the work in a language that feels natural and precise.
A Chinese edition of Agile by Choice extends this movement further. As ideas enter new cultural contexts, they create new opportunities for interpretation, dialogue, and application.
The Academy: Faster Orientation
To help members navigate the growing wealth of Academy material, we have created the Academy Compass and Narrated Contents, two downloadable guides for faster orientation.
Academy members can download both documents directly from the Academy.

Learning to See
A new document has been added to Working Documents in the Academy for Clarity Mentoring Partners: Learning to See. It provides a first summary of a new research project I am pursuing with Professor Herb Nold on the foundations of Organization Twins, Structured Reflection, and Clarity Before Change.
At the heart of the project is a deceptively simple question: What enables us to see how an organization actually works before interpretation hardens into judgment and before action begins?
The document brings the conceptual foundations of the work together and opens them for reflection and further development. It is deliberately a working document rather than a finished answer: an invitation to certified partners to examine the principles beneath the practice and connect them with what they observe in their own work.
From Research into Practice
Learning to see is not only an intellectual task. It develops through reflection, dialogue, and repeated practice. Several opportunities now make it possible to engage with the work at different depths.
Partner Practice
The next Partner Practice sessions for certified partners will take place on 15 September 2026 and 19 November 2026. These sessions provide space for joint learning, method refinement, and exchange around current practice. View the Partner Practice calendar.
Certification in Guided Clarity Practice
New certification journeys can begin every month. The process is guided and practice-based, while allowing each participant to move at an individual rhythm.

Clarity Before Change Masterclass
The one-hour online Masterclass offers a first experience of Clarity Before Change for leaders, board members, consultants, and anyone curious about the work. It introduces the idea of organizational clarity and the logic of Organization Twins in a small, dialog-based setting. Sessions are offered regularly.

Different Depths, One Starting Point
These opportunities do not form a prescribed sequence. Each serves a different purpose: first orientation, professional development, or continued partner practice. What connects them is the same discipline now being explored more deeply in Learning to See: before we decide what should change, we must first become better able to see what is already there.
Clarity begins with learning to see.
One Connected Purpose
These developments may look separate: a growing blog, a web-based Room, a forthcoming book, reorganized libraries, additional language editions, and new paths into learning and practice.
They serve one connected purpose:
To help leaders, teams, readers, and practitioners gain the clarity their situation requires.
Some will begin with a short guide.
Others will enter through a book, a shared conversation, an Organization Twin, or deeper Academy material.
The starting points differ. The purpose does not.
To see more clearly before deciding what should change.
