FOR EDUCATORS

Connect Management Concepts with Organizational Experience

Help students explore how organizations work and develop judgment they can explain, question, and refine.

Structured Reflection, Organization Twins, and guided dialogue connect course concepts with observations, concrete examples, and different perspectives.

Begin with a learning question that matters to your course.

WHAT STUDENTS CAN EXPLORE

  • How management practices interact
  • How decisions and coordination shape everyday work
  • What enables or constrains people’s contribution
  • Why the same situation can be interpreted differently
  • How organizational experience supports or challenges a theory

Your course question sets the focus.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

Before the conversation
Students complete Structured Reflection for Education about an agreed organizational context. Their observations provide the basis for the Organization Twin material used in the course.

During the Guided Clarity Session
You help students connect patterns with examples, examine assumptions, and consider alternative explanations alongside the concepts you teach.

After the conversation
Students revisit their interpretations and record how their understanding has changed. A follow-up discussion or assignment can carry the learning forward.

We agree the learning purpose, context, participation, and use of reflection material with you. Selected Academy resources support your preparation and facilitation.
DISCUSS YOUR COURSE
The format complements your curriculum. Structured Reflection and the Organization Twin support learning and dialogue; they do not grade students or evaluate individual performance.

WHERE THIS FITS

The approach supports teaching in transformation, change, innovation, sustainability, organization design, leadership, and management.

It can be integrated into master’s, MBA, EMBA, postgraduate, and executive education programs. The learning question determines the focus.

WHAT YOU AND YOUR STUDENTS TAKE FORWARD

  • Stronger connections between theory and organizational experience
  • Assumptions and different perspectives students can examine
  • More developed reflective judgment and systemic thinking
  • A clearer basis for discussing organizational choices

You guide the learning conversation. Students develop and justify their own interpretations.
